Telemetry
VRCT collects anonymous usage statistics to help improve the application. This page explains what data is collected, how you can control it, and the privacy guarantees we provide.
Overviewβ
Telemetry helps us understand how VRCT is used and identify areas for improvement. All data collection is:
- Anonymous: No personal identification information
- Privacy-focused: No sensitive data is ever collected
- User-controlled: You can disable it at any time
- Transparent: See exactly what's collected below
What Data is Collected?β

VRCT tracks the following events only:

What Data is NOT Collectedβ
We never collect:
- β Personal identification data (usernames, IDs, device serials)
- β Message content or input text
- β Voice audio data
- β UI state (window position, minimized status)
- β System information (hardware specs, OS details)
- β File paths or document names

- Service: Aptabase
- Protocol: HTTPS (encrypted)
- Retention: Limited by Aptabase policy
- Access: Only VRCT developers can view analytics dashboard
Your Privacy Rightsβ
- You control whether telemetry is enabled
- You can disable it at any time without penalty
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
- Data is stored securely by Aptabase
